Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 (dependent on experience)

Osmani Trust is a youth and community charity providing a range of education, health, sports and social welfare services to diverse communities in Tower Hamlets and surrounding Boroughs. These can be grouped into the following themes: crime prevention; gang mediation; family and youth mentoring; community safety, health and sports; education, training and employment; and generic youth club and holiday provisions amongst others.
The Education & Employment Project is a programme of Osmani Trust working to improve educational outcomes, skills & competencies and employment prospects of communities living in and around East London. We are looking to recruit an experienced Careers and Employment Adviser.
The ideal person will have a track record of engaging and providing high quality Information and Guidance to help clients progress that promotes trust and establishes relationships, responsibility and clear expectations. Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and national employers with the objective of sourcing vacancies and work placement opportunities for our clients. You will provide high quality services to customers to ensure targets are achieved. Work proactively with a caseload of clients, maintaining regular contact, advising of suitable opportunities and monitoring progress. You will maintain appropriate client database systems and other systems (electronic and paper based).
