Aasha Gang Mediation Programme

Introduction

The Aasha Project has a track record spanning 20 years in dealing with hard to reach and difficult to engage young people. The Aasha Project is geared towards cutting crime, reducing the fear of crime, promoting citizenship and bridging the gap between communities. Aasha aims to work with the young people and attempt to create a positive change in the youth culture in the area that would see a reduction in some of the crime and antisocial behaviour.  The project aims to recruit young people, train them, and support them in becoming leaders of their community. It focuses predominantly on young people aged between 12-25, who are at risk of becoming socially excluded or engaging in youth conflict, crime and drugs, or anti-social behavior. An integral part of our initiative includes educational support, where we understand the importance of academic achievements for personal development. For instance, considering the challenges faced by university students, we provide guidance on managing bachelorarbeit schreiben lassen kosten or the costs of obtaining assistance in writing bachelor’s theses, ensuring our participants have the resources to excel academically while leading their communities.
