The Process

Each application will be assessed by a Panel consisting of members from the local community and employees from organisations that integrate with the Healthy Borough Programme (HBP). Recruitment for panel will be an on-going process, this is to ensure that we do not fall under the minimum requirement which is 4 and have adequate panel members representing LAP 1 and 2.

Meetings will be held 2-4 weeks after the closing dates of each round. Application will be cross-referenced with the criteria and checked for eligibility. Those that meet the three key cross-cutting strands and accepted by the panel will be awarded the grant.

Successful candidate will have the full responsibility to manage and ensure the deliverance of the project as set in the application. Where necessary an appointed member of the panel and the Community Development Worker will be providing support and help to the project lead and ensuring that the project is run accordingly as specified in the application.

The project can be delivered anywhere however 85% of the beneficiaries must be of Tower Hamlets residents.

Osmani Trust has been awarded £10,000 to disseminate to successful applicant approved by the Panel. The panel is independent and makes its own decision without the influence of other organisations or external individuals. Members of the panel approve applicant based on the project and those that meet the criteria.
