Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,000.00 per annum

Contract: Until 31st March 2013 (Renewable subject to funding)

Osmani Trust is a youth and community organisation operating in the heart of East London. The Trust delivers a range of services for young people and the community. These can be grouped into the following themes: crime prevention; gang mediation; community safety, health and sports; education, training and employment and generic youth club and holiday provisions.

Amaal Girls Project is a programme of Osmani Trust which works pro-actively with girls, young women and families. Amaal seeks to re-engage young girls into mainstream provision through its culturally sensitive model of work.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced individual to take the work of Amaal forward.

You will have the ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and targets within the agreed time and budget. You will need to understand the challenges faced by vulnerable young girls, their families and have the ability to provide the necessary support to help address and overcome their barriers.
